Your data when you enter a giveaway
A giveaway needs your email address to reach a winner and, for prizes limited to certain markets, your country. Anything beyond that — phone number, address, date of birth at entry — is a reason to be sceptical.

Why double opt-in
After entering you receive one email with a confirmation link. Only after that click does the entry join the draw. This proves consent, blocks entries made with someone else's address, and keeps automated sign-ups out.
Getting out again
Every PrizePop email carries an unsubscribe link on our own domain. One click stops all notifications. Account holders can also switch individual notification types on and off in their account.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can request access to your data, correction, deletion and a copy. The operator named in the imprint is the controller and the contact point for those requests.
Frequently asked questions
- Is my address sold to advertisers?
- No. PrizePop does not sell entry data. Sponsors of a drop receive reach, not address lists, unless an entrant explicitly opts in to a sponsor mailing.
- How long is an entry stored?
- Long enough to run and document the draw and to answer later questions about it; after that it is removed on request at any time.
- Do I get advertising after entering?
- Only PrizePop notifications you asked for, and each one can be switched off in a single click.
