How a drop runs
Prize, entry window and draw date are published before the window opens. Entry needs an email address and a country. A confirmation email must be clicked for the entry to count. When the window closes at the published UTC time, the pool is fixed.
How the winner is chosen
A person triggers the draw in the admin area. One entry is picked with a cryptographically secure random selection. The draw date, the winning entry and the number of eligible entries are stored together. The draw is never automated — that is a deliberate rule at PrizePop.
How PrizePop is financed
Advertising on the site and sponsored drops fund the prizes. Entry data is not sold, and sponsors receive reach rather than address lists.
