Deadlines, UTC and your local time
PrizePop publishes every entry window and draw time in UTC. In Germany, Austria and Switzerland local time is UTC+1 in winter and UTC+2 in summer, so a 12:00 UTC deadline is 13:00 in winter and 14:00 in summer.
Why UTC at all
A single reference time removes every argument about when a window really closed. UTC has no daylight saving shift, so the published time stays the same all year while local clocks move around it.
Converting in your head
Add one hour to UTC between late October and late March, and two hours between late March and late October. The countdown shown on each drop page already runs on your own device clock, so it needs no conversion at all.
Not missing a close
Enter on the day you see the drop rather than on the last day, confirm straight away, and use the reminder sign-up so the start of the next drop reaches you by email. Entries that arrive after the published closing time cannot be added afterwards.
